Krista Elrick’s Photography Is a Political Act at Northlight Gallery in Phoenix

Black-and-white photographs, all taken at sites once traversed by famed naturalist and artist John James Audubon, dot the walls at Arizona State University's Northlight Gallery in Phoenix, where New Mexico photographer Krista Elrick recently opened her “Retracing Audubon: Contemporary Views” exhibition. But the exhibition is anything but boring.
