Google Partners With Yad Vashem to Cast Its Searchlight on Holocaust Photos (ARTINFO)

ARTINFO – On January 27 of 1945 Auschwitz was liberated by Soviet forces, a date commemorated as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Now Internet giant Google and Yad Vashem, the center in Jerusalem committed to preserving the memory of Holocaust victims, have taken this occasion to announce an unprecedented collaboration: a searchable online archive for the largest collection of Holocaust documents in the world.
