I always love to take pictures and want to persue studying photography and plans to buy a professional digital camera what brand should i choose & what specs should i consider? Please help

You may find when you start the course you won’t be demanded to have the latest top of the range all bells and whistles camera. Maybe after you’ve started the course your professor would be the best person to advise you on what to buy.
Consider only Canon and Nikon. They are the leaders in professional 35mm and digital SLR’s and over 80% of the professional photographers worldwide use them.
If you decide to attend a college or university in pursuit of learning photography be aware that most start teaching you using a film camera and the digital comes in later courses. The good thing is will be able to use the lenses you purchase for your film camera on the digital (if you purchase either a Canon or Nikon system)
Some schools start you out using a 4×5 view camera, so for a while (at least when it comes to class assignments) your DSLR may gather some dust.

Cannon or a Nikon. I have both and like them equally. To Begin with get the best for your money, there are a lot of cameras out there that are not “professional” but will give you professional results if you know how to use the camera and your surroundings to your advantage. Also don’t get one that is to complicated and will confuse you. I use a Nikon D 50 but a good professional is the Nikon D80.
