Last month the editors of Popular Photography narrowed down the field of almost 800 entries to the 5th Annual Digital Wizard Contest down to 33 semi finalists. From those imaginative creations, 10 finalists have been selected.
Sigma has introduced a new close-up lens for its DP1 camera. The AML-1 lens enables focusing between 7.9 and 13 inches, with 1:8.2 to 1:14.9 magnification. It mounts onto the DP1 with Sigma’s HA-11 hood adapter, and takes 46mm filters. The two-element AML-1 has a multi-layer coating to reduce flare and ghosting.
